Leadership Executive Committee
The control and administration of the affairs of the Society shall be vested in an Executive Committee consisting of the Officers, 2 Members-at Large, a Secretary, and Treasurer.
The executive committee is responsible for the control and administration of the affairs of the Society. They will meet on a quarterly basis either virtually or in person. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the Nominations Process per bylaws.
- Selecting Program Chair(s) and Venue for annual meeting.
- Overseeing the planning and organization of the annual meeting whether under the direction of the Executive Committee or by appointment of agreed upon/approved members.
- Serving on an assigned committee as a co-chair/liaison.
President
The President shall serve on the Executive Committee for three years, the first as President-elect, the next as President, and the last as Past-President. The President-Elect shall automatically assume the office of the President at the end of a regular term of office or at any time the office of President becomes vacant. The President is an Officer of the organization.
Member at Large
Members at large shall serve a three year term on the Executive Committee with assignment to a specific committee for oversight and execution of SCI initiatives. He or she shall fulfill other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
Secretary
The Secretary shall serve a three year term with responsibility to record minutes on all proceedings of the Executive Committee. In conjunction with the Executive Director, oversee custodian of all documents; maintain record of the Society Membership Roster; and oversee the website content. He or she shall fulfill other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
Treasurer
The Treasurer shall serve a three year term. In coordination with the Executive Director, the Treasurer shall review and approve the arrangements for the receipt and disbursement of Society funds, and for keeping the Society’s accounts. The Treasurer shall develop an annual budget for approval by the Executive Committee and report on the Society’s fiscal condition as requested by the Executive Committee. He or she shall also fulfill other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.

The following committees will be established in the first year. These may grow and change over time as decided upon by the Executive Committee. New committees may also be established to address the evolving needs of the society and its members.

Committee Chair
Committee Chairs shall serve a three term. A member of the Executive Committee will be assigned to serve as a co-chair and liaison for each committee. Committee Chairs are responsible for facilitating committee meetings, involving committee members, and moving forward the execution of SCI tasks and initiatives assigned to their respective committee.
Committee Member
Committee members shall serve a three term. Members are responsible for participating in committee meetings, providing support and fulfilling assignments for SCI tasks and initiatives assigned to their respective committee.
