The Marshall Joffe Fund for Causal Inference honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Marshall Joffe, whose intellectual rigor, generosity of spirit, and deep commitment to scientific truth helped shape the field of causal inference as we know it today. As one of the early champions of principled thinking in observational studies, Marshall inspired generations of researchers through his mentorship, methodological innovations, and unwavering dedication to public health.

This fund supports the ongoing activities of the Society for Causal Inference (SCI), including our annual conference, student and early-career programming, initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in the field, and the continued growth of our community. As a volunteer-run society, we rely on the generosity of our members and supporters to carry out our mission.
